Training Without Conflict Certified Trainer Marc
Marc serves as the training director at Canine Resolution. Since beginning his professional dog training career in 1990, he has dedicated himself to training dogs full-time.
Marc has successfully completed and passed the written and practical exams of Ivan Balabanov's TWC™ dog training course, making him one of only five TWC Training Without Conflict™ certified dog trainers in Michigan.
The comprehensive Training Without Conflict™ course by Ivan Balabanov encompassed studying course materials, participating in Zoom conferences, attending dog training and behavior workshops in Florida, and passing both written and practical examinations.
However, this certification is not merely another accolade.
Ivan Balabanov, a 16-time national and two-time world IGP champion, is considered one of the premier dog trainers globally. Marc has long admired Ivan and his dog training methodologies, and he was thrilled to be accepted into Ivan's prestigious dog training certification program. Ivan is not just a globally acclaimed dog trainer but also an exceptional instructor.

Private obedience lessons and Boarding with Training
Private Lessons
In our private lessons, we provide instruction on training your dog.
You are expected to participate in weekly sessions where Marc will guide you through the training process, including explanations, demonstrations, and practice time.
Marc offers private lessons à la carte, or you may opt for a package of lessons at a discounted rate.
Please note that all sessions take place at Canine Resolution, and we advise scheduling one lesson each week.
This service is exclusively for non-aggressive dogs.

Boarding with training

Step #1 Phone Consultation
The initial complimentary phone consultation is designed to answer questions about Marcs services. It is also an essential step for Marc to determine if your dog is a good candidate for his boarding and training program. Please note that this phone consultation is intended exclusively for discussing your goals for your dog and the services Marc offers.

If Marc considers your dog a good match, he will send you an email with a link to schedule an in-person evaluation.
Step #2 In-Person Evaluations
During the assessment, Marc will explore the underlying reasons for your dog's behavior, explain his training approach, and offer insights into the cognitive functions and learning behaviors of dogs. If we determine a mutual fit, we will then schedule your dog's board-and-train program.
Step #3 Boarding with Training
Your dog will reside with Marc for the necessary duration to achieve your training objectives.
The boarding and training phase will establish a robust foundation, after which you will continue to refine your dog's newly acquired skills through weekly private lessons. In these sessions, you will grasp the teaching methods applied to your dog, fostering a strong bond between you both.
Not all dogs qualify for this program. Our boarding and training service is uniquely designed to cater to your dog's particular requirements. Pricing is determined by the individual needs of your dog and the length of their stay.
