I believe in the importance of your dog feeling happy and fulfilled and I enjoy educating my clients of the best way to satisfy their dog’s genetic desires while reaching important training goals. Solidifying the relationship and improving communication between dog and owner is just one of many gratifications of becoming a dog trainer. I offer private lessons, puppy classes and board and train programs for all breeds and ages of dogs at Canine Resolution. I love working with all dogs but especially appreciate the challenge of working with dogs who lack self-confidence. I understand that each dog is uniquely different and cater to the needs of each dog and owner as individuals.
Carrie has completed and passed both written and practical tests of Ivan Balabonov TWC™ dog training course and is currently only one of three certified
TWC Training Without Conflict™ certified dog trainers in Michigan!
Ivan Balabanov’s Training Without Conflict™ course included studying course material, attending zoom conferences, attending dog training/ behavior workshops in Florida, passing written and practical tests!
But this is not just another certification!
Ivan Balabonov is a 16X national and 2X world IGP champion and is arguably one of the best dog trainers in the world. Marc has followed Ivan and looked up to him and his dog training techniques for a long time and was super excited when he learned that Ivan accepted him into his dog training certification program. Not only is Ivan a world re-nowned dog trainer, but he is also a great teacher.

Private lessons
In our private lessons, we instruct you on training your dog. This service is exclusively for non-aggressive dogs.
You are expected to participate in weekly sessions where Carrie will guide you through the training process, which includes explanations, demonstrations, and practice time.
Carrie provides private lessons à la carte, or you can opt for a package of lessons at a discounted rate.
Please note that all sessions take place at Canine Resolution and we advise scheduling one lesson each week.
